PiTube turns a sentence into a short AI-generated video, and you pay for it with Pi — no card, no separate signup form, no leaving the Pi Browser. Here is the whole flow, start to finish.
Step 1: Describe Your Video
Open the Studio and type what you want to see. Plain language works best. A good prompt says who or what is in the shot, what they are doing, and the mood or setting:
- "A golden retriever puppy chasing bubbles in a sunny backyard, slow motion"
- "A tiny robot watering a plant on a windowsill at sunrise, cozy lighting"
- "Ocean waves rolling onto a black sand beach at dusk, cinematic"
You don't need technical jargon. If you can picture it, you can prompt it.
Step 2: Pick a Model
PiTube offers a few different video models. They trade off speed, style, and motion quality — some are better at realistic scenes, others at stylized or animated looks. Each option shows its price in Pi right on the button, so there are no surprises. If you're not sure, start with the default: it's a good all-rounder for a first video.
Step 3: Tap Generate and Pay with Pi
When you tap Generate, the Pi Browser opens the standard Pi payment sheet. You approve the payment the same way you would any other Pi app transaction. Once the payment confirms, generation starts.
What You Get
A short AI-generated video clip, rendered from your prompt, ready to watch and share. Generation isn't instant — the model has to render every frame — so give it a little time. You can keep browsing PiTube while it works.
Where Your Video Goes
Finished videos land on your PiTube channel, tied to the account created from your Pi identity. From there you can watch it, share the link, or make another. Every video you generate stays in your library, so your best clips are always one tap away.
